During this meeting we will discuss Plato's analysis of democracy and in particular focus on the mechanism that is in play when political rhetoric thrives in a state where both politician and the people are led by a hedonistic outlook. Plato's analysis is sharp and strikingly apt to describe some tendencies that we see in our democracy today.
